The Importance of Daily Affirmations

Each day I say the following 2 affirmations:  accepting whatever is, is okay;  releasing resistance, control and attachment.  So much of our suffering is caused by our minds resisting the situation as it exists, trying to control events and others we can’t control and being personally attached to the outcome of things we desire.   Another way of saying this is: live passionately, then let go and let God handle the outcome.  I often repeat my affirmations as I do the yoga sun, moon link.  It combines the benefits of deep breathing with gaining peace of mind.  I repeat as necessary during the day.
